Summer Days

Image
My idealistic opinion remains that it's not officially summer until you're on a boat drinking rosé. In a perfect world, I'd be on the water sipping Whispering Angel (shameless promotion here) just as soon as Memorial Day weekend begins. Sadly, sailing is not always accessible... So, the next best thing is a leisurely lunch at Grand Banks  - the retired schooner that moors on the Hudson River during the warmer months, far enough from Manhattan to give one the illusion of being on the open water. A simple yet select menu, highlights include oysters, lobster rolls, and a refreshing watermelon and tomato salad. And, of course, ample bottles of the pink stuff. Helpful hint: Avoid the lines and make a reservation HERE to secure your spot. Cheers!
